Dr. Robert Westermeyer

Dr. Robert Westermeyer is a licensed psychologist that for over 10 years has been devoted to the application of scientific research into psychotherapy practice. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University, and subsequently completed his Master's and Doctoral Degrees in Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology He has aided in the increase of cognitive therapy programming in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and recently wrote a manual on the treatment of depression for one of San Diego's most respected psychiatric hospitals. He developed one of the first websites (www.habitsmart.com) geared towards helping people fight addictions. He has had articles published in many professional journals and newsletters. Dr. Westermeyer lives in Encinitas, California, with his wife and three children.
